Messner® Skimmer: Autumn care made easy

There are two sure ways to keep pond water in the water garden free of leaves in autumn. Either you decide in favour of a formal water garden free of large trees, bushes and aquatic plants around the installation or you integrate a Messner® Profi Skimmer directly!

Winter - Maintenance Ice and frost can destroy the skimmer!  To prevent damage, remove the skimmer or floating skimmer from the pond in autumn, clean it and protect it from frost during the winter.

Messner® has developed the Skimmer 300 and the Tube Skimmer 300 for particularly large water gardens. Pond surfaces of up to 120 square metres are no problem with a uniform suction pattern. The Messner® professional pond skimmers enable a suction volume of up to 25,000 liter/hours!

Winter - Maintenance ATTENTION! Switch off the pump before removing the float and the filter basket! Ice and frost can destroy the float! To prevent damage, remove the float and basket from the pond in autumn, clean them and store them in a frost-proof place for the winter. The stainless steel inner and outer rings including the housing parts can remain in the pond.
